total design. Every detail is designed. And sleeping is sleeping, phones not allowed
every day you will get a different capsule to sleep in, so everyday your locker has to be emptied. Therefore a perfect place to stay when travelling light! Since no alarm clocks are allowed they wake you with the ambilight function, which doesn't worked well for me.

The place had a fantastic location, right by popular attractions, the train station, bus stops, and various shops, including the vibrant Nishiki Market and Teramachi and Shinkyogoku streets.

Perfect location for visiting the city. Simple facilities but enough to pass the night. Enough space to sleep.Staffs wrere all friendly.
For some guests the system of sleeping in a cabin with the same number of the locker key is not easy to understand maybe, because my cabin was already occupied by someone who did not understand the system and got into a wrong cabin.

The hotel of choice in Kyoto. Cheerful place for resting and amiable and top-class staff. Location close to metro. Also, close to the arcades. Warm, perfect rooms with lockers, stunning position.
Not always friendly staff!

It is a capusle hotel that allows both men and women. It was really safe, clean, and looks as if it was designed by Apple. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. I loved every second of it.
I wish the bottom lining of the bed was thicker, but it still slept well.

Fantastic location in Downtown Kyoto, very friendly staff, stylish design, big capsules.
Before midnight a bit noisy, but with earplugs it's alright.

The ultimate efficient and futuristic youth hostel with a twist. capsules were not in any way claustrophobic, showers clean, wifi downstairs good. very helpful staff with good english speakers.
couldn't use the 'lounge' as it is ladies only.

I loved the decor and design. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bikes were great! I was traveling alone and very frequently lost! Having a bike made it easy to get around and was really fun!
I couldn't go in and have a shower after riding for 6 hours in the heat because of the check in time. I totally understand the 9 hours thing but it was a little frustrating.

Sleek futuristic design
Lack of space for unpacking/packing suitcases so everyone is kind of doing it right by the entrance lobby, where the bigger suitcases are to be kept. The capsules do not have doors so it is quite noisy when others are walking around on the concrete floor in the slippers provided.
